It happened on Friday May 1st, but here’s the post now! AbilityFirst provides programs and services to help children and adults with physical and developmental disabilities reach their full potential throughout their lives. They offer a broad range of employment, recreational and socialization programs.
Last year was Star car Central’s first time participating in the Red Carpet Oscar like event, and it was such fun we brought a different group back for the second year!
Mark G and his Adam-12 cruiser showed up, and then got a call to fix a helicopter, so he got himself moved up in the line up, and delivered Jim Carrey (does he seem a bit too tall?) to the red carpet area where Joan Rivers was greeting all the ariving stars.

Mark G's Adam 12 meets Jim Carrey look alike! Mark ran the red carpet, then ran to keep the police in the air! Always on call, his job is to keep them flying!
“One Adam-12 see the woman dressed like Joan Rivers, use caution, she is armed with a sharp wit. that is all.”
(In a side note, I am trying to locate an “ACE VENTURA” car for the Jim Carrey Impersonator… we shall see…)
Scott Sebring is in the Batman costume, with his Wife Vicky together they were a big hit with the “consumers” and all the attenders
of the event!
Check out the “circe” reflective red paint on Tom’s car! Cool!
Just so no one is confused, that is TOM driving HIS batmobile, no I didn’t let someone else drive my bat. So don’t ask. 🙂 Don’t ask Tom either.

Sue and Get Smart and Lucy Ball?
Sue brought her Get Smart Sunbeam with working machine gun in the hood, along with a great Get Smart Look-A-Like
and were teamed up with a “I Love Lucy” impersonator. Maxwell Smart entertained the crowd with his Shoe Phone!

harley hearse with Elvira? Not sure if it's a "star Car" but a great Elvira look a like rode up in this harley pulled hearse! COOL!

Where's Waldo?

YEAH BABY!

- Austin Power’s “Shaguar” Yeah Baby!

Batman and Robin?

the starcarcentral.com line up!
The Batmobile, KITT, Get Smart, Herbie, Star Wars H-wing, but Adam-12 had to answer the call before I got there to take any photos!

Austin in the Love big, that makes sense!
Jerry was our “Herbie” Owner this year, and he got to deliver Austin Powers to the center stage.

Steven Speilburg in KITT
O.K. so Steven Spielburg had nothing to do with knight rider, but the car has a kind of a “shark” nose, so they played
the theme to Knight Rider, and JAWS!

Sue "Beaming" next to her Get Smart Sunbeam
- Brian walks with the stars!
Brian brought his nephew and rode in a Limo this time, instead of in Herbie or Horace the Hate bug.
So why all this fuss, and driving in the rain through traffic on a Friday night?

For the smiles!
this last photo says it all! It was a big night for all of us, but the smiles on the faces of all those attending and helping when they saw
the famous cars and impersonators was worth any and all trouble it was to be apart of this big event! See you next year!
