Edelbrock once again put on a great show and even with two other shows going the same weekend, SCC aka Star Car Central.com still managed to get a crew of famous movie and TV cars out to ther event, that raises support for “rev’ved up for kids charity!
Gary brought his Herbie all the way from San Diego to be at the Edelbrock show, and paid dearly in repair costs – the price of playing with your toys! Thanks Gary! He also came up for a special last minute show for David Hasselhoff, but that’s another blog!
Charlie brought out his super nice Bullitt tribute fastback Mustang. That’s a clean motor, Charlie!
Lou brought his Starsky and Hutch Torino, no sign of Huggy Bear, but lots of smiles when they spotted the “striped tomato”!
Joe brought his Transformer Edition Bumblebee too, and Chuck slid into the best in show award with his rod Riguez!
Chuck’s super low slung Japanese built custom rod wins a trophy just about every time he takes it out of the trailer!
Even though we were spread out from Anaheim to Torrance to Coasta Mesa, we actually got a larger group of star cars in THREE places than we used to be able to get in just ONE place!
The Edelbrock 6th Annual Revved Up 4 Kids car show featured not only an amazing group of cars and specialty autos, but live music, manufacturer’s displays, great food, and open access to Vic’s Garage that is literally a walk through history. Proceeds benefit The Center for Learning Unlimited — a school in Torrance dedicated to children with special needs and learning disabilities. For more info, go to www.cflu.org.
Good job guys! Hopefully next year it won’t land on top of a Comic Convention and a surprise last minute show for David Hasselhoff! But like I said, that’s another blog…. for another day!
